F-FHE — Threshold FHE decryption

F-FHE (Threshold FHE decryption) is part of Public-Key Primitives, Key Exchange, Messaging in the UC functionality encyclopedia. Status: a canonical, well-established UC functionality.

Until recently this functionality was open; a 2025 paper on high-throughput universally composable threshold FHE decryption moved it from open to canonical, retiring one of the field’s longest-standing gaps.
